I received my BA in Economics and Psychology from Stanford University and my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University. I have been practicing since 2004 and have extensive training in treating depression, anxiety and trauma. In addition, I specialize in the following areas: fertility and pregnancy, pregnancy loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, birth trauma, postpartum depression, intimate partner abuse and childhood trauma. I am Perinatal Mental Health Certified through Postpartum Support International.

My Treatment Approach

Every person is unique. During our first few sessions, I will spend time getting to know you -understanding your history, identifying your strengths and clarifying what brings you to counseling. Together we will identify what type of therapy will bring you the most relief. Typically, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Mindfulness and EMDR.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

Notice to clients and prospective clients:

Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

If you believe you’ve been wrongly billed, you may contact:

Counseling

Depression & Anxiety

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, I help you recover the motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.

Trauma & Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger following traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Fertility, Pregnancy and Postpartum

Depression and anxiety are common during fertility treatments, pregnancy and in the postpartum period? I can help you navigate and alleviate these difficult feelings. Counseling is the most effective treatment during the family building process.
